Chris Michel joins Brown Brother Harriman

Brown Brother Harriman & Company (BBH) has appointed Chris Michel as head of diversity and inclusion for the firm.

In his new role, Michel will build programmes that advance the firm’s inclusive culture, expand its diversity and grow its external brand in diversity and inclusion efforts.

He will be based in New York and will report to partner, Kathryn George.

George commented: “We are pleased to welcome Michel to BBH and we are confident his wealth of experience will catapult us forward in our efforts to ensure an inclusive culture that is stronger as a result of our differences.”

He joins from American International Group (AIG) where he served as senior director of diversity and inclusion for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Americas.
